Carrie has a passion for living life abundantly every day and helping others do the same. She is specialized in the area of trauma recovery and post-trauma resiliency. She has developed programs and published curriculums which are used in prevention, education, and restoration services around the world.
Over the course of her career, she has provided advisory services in the United States, Scotland, the Philippines, and Iraq. She has also trained and advised members of government, law enforcement, education, the medical community, churches, and NGOs.
Dr. Reid has been in private practice for 15 years in Southlake, Texas, her passion is to utilize spiritual freedom, learned therapy and a variety of other techniques to provide clients with powerful plans to combat any problems they face. She has a variety of experiences that include school counselor, special educator, intern at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, clinic director at the Texas Woman’s University Counseling and Family Therapy Clinic, member of the National Institute of Health research grant in pain management, partnering with numerous grief organizations and most recently serving as Director of Master of Marriage & Family Therapy graduate degree program at The King's University. Dr. Reid is also the author of Unwrapped: Open The Gift Of Holiday Sanity, because she loves all things Christmas. Dr. Reid and her family reside in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Army Major General Furlow retired in March 2009 after serving over thirty one years of distinguished service with all three components of the Army of the United States. General Furlow is currently a practicing attorney (JD) licensed to practiced law in Texas and a certified public accountant (CPA). General Furlow was commissioned in 1977 after graduating from Iowa State University with a BS degree. He later received a MS degree from Kansas State University, an MBA from LeTourneau University, and in May of 2019 a Juris Doctorate from the University of North Texas Dallas College of Law.
